A real diamond, grown above ground
A lab-grown diamond is made of the same pure carbon crystal as a mined diamond. It has the same hardness, the same fire, and the same sparkle. The only difference is where it was formed.
Chemically identical
Lab-grown and mined diamonds share the same chemical, physical and optical properties. A trained gemologist needs specialized equipment to tell them apart.
Independently graded
Independent laboratories grade lab-grown diamonds. IGI uses the familiar color, clarity, cut and carat grades. GIA places each lab-grown diamond in one of two categories: Premium or Standard.

Sell your gold, silver and platinum in private
The Diamond Room buys gold, silver and platinum, in jewelry and coins. Bring in pieces you no longer wear, including broken or unmatched ones, and Mike will evaluate them with you one-on-one.
1. Book a time
Choose "Selling gold, silver or platinum" on the booking form so Mike knows what you're bringing in.
2. Bring your gold
Gold, silver and platinum jewelry and coins are all welcome, including broken chains, single earrings and pieces you no longer wear.
3. Get an offer
Mike evaluates your gold with you in a private room and makes you an offer. Accept it and you're paid by cash or check. There's no obligation to sell.
Gold is valued by its karat and weight. The higher the karat, the more pure gold a piece contains. Silver and platinum are valued the same way: sterling silver is 92.5% silver, and most platinum jewelry is 95% platinum.
